Meera had never cycled past her lane. A She Cycles club changed that. Now she leads 40 women on dawn rides every Saturday.
Ride. Design.Lead.
She Cycles is a movement — giving women cycles, safe spaces, and the power to design the cities they deserve.
Join the Movement →Give her space.
She gains everything.
From Cubbon Park to college campuses to city streets — She Cycles is building clubs, enabling rides, and commissioning women to design the active mobility spaces of tomorrow.
Cycling is not a
sport. It is freedom.
for her freedom of movement.
She Cycles is changing that.
We are living through the worst mobility crisis in history — not because people can't move, but because the machines designed to move them are consuming their time, health, money, and cities. Millions of women and girls never ride freely because roads, spaces, and systems were never designed for them.
She Cycles exists because we believe cycling is not a hobby for the privileged — it is the most human, most democratic, most joyful form of movement on earth. One cycle changes a girl's world. Ten thousand cycles change a city. A movement changes everything.
A girl who cycles to school stays in school. A woman who rides to market builds independence. Mobility is the first freedom — and the most transformative.
The campus is where movement culture forms. When she rides to college, she arrives stronger, freer, and more confident than anyone who sat in traffic.
Cities built for cars are cities built against women. When women ride freely — roads shrink, communities grow, and the city becomes human again.
The next mobility revolution is not electric cars. It is a billion people choosing to move themselves — freely, joyfully, together.
What we're building.
Three clear actions. One unstoppable movement. Give women clubs, cycles, and the power to design their city.
Every women's college deserves a cycling club. We give you the framework, the support, and the community. You give it life.
No experience needed. No traffic. No fear. Just 2 beautiful hours cycling through Cubbon Park on a NammaCycle for just ₹50.
Architecture and design students: your brief is the city itself. Design cycling infrastructure with women's safety and joy at the centre.
A movement is built
on four practices.
She Cycles is not a cycling class. It is a transformative movement — built on the four practices that every major social movement in history has relied on.
"Transformative movements are not asking people to believe another world is possible. They are asking us to generate and experience it through practice and strategy. The secret is to be the future now."
Radical Clarity.
Right Now.
Always.
One Direction.
Every college. A club.
Cycling clubs in women's colleges are the seeds of a movement. Each club gets rides, resources, design challenges, and a voice.
Early risers, late dreamers. This club rides Cubbon Park every Saturday morning and is designing a cycling-safe campus route proposal.
Join Club →Design students who ride and then sketch what they saw. Building a visual manifesto for women-centred cycling spaces.
Join Club →Architecture students mapping green and blue spaces in Bengaluru accessible by cycle. Their goal: a city cycling atlas designed for and by women.
